Joshua Swanson is an Actor, Voice Talent, Host, Blogger and aspiring comedian. He’s been in the entertainment business since 2000 and accomplished a decent amount in that short time period.
As an actor he’s worked in major motion pictures, TV movies, TV shows and commercials. His latest film “For Pete’s Sake” just finished filming in March of ‘08 in Chicago starring Cheryl Ladd and Barry Bostwick. For pictures from the set go here. For his acting resume go here.
As a voice talent or voice over actor he’s worked in four main genre’s. In commercial voice over he’s worked in radio and television voicing national campaigns for companies like Verizon, AT&T, McDonald’s, Subway, Cellular One, Meijer, Hallmark, Budweiser, and many more. COMMERCIAL
As a character voice actor Joshua has voiced leading roles in international video games like ObsCure II and Tekki. He was the voice of Titus in the upcoming Word of Promise New Testament. He was the voice of Maury in the latest Pokemon film and he’s voiced many fun characters for national radio and television campaigns like Poptarts, Kellogs, Dairy Queen, and more. CHARACTER
Recently, as a narration voice over actor or narrator Joshua worked with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Other major corporations include Corrugated Materials, Inc., Westport, and two different Technical Institutes have hired him as the narration voice of their admissions videos: Sussex Technical Institute and Universal Technical Institute. Also, Joshua has been known to be a show narrator and recently he did work on “My God Story” for Calvary of Ft. Lauderdale. NARRATION
Along with the usual voice over work, Joshua has been working with Audible, Inc. for over a year now as an audio book narrator. Some of his recent books include the Crystal Doors series, Peeps, and Cheater. Joshua specializes in narrating children’s books.
