Joshua just won an Audiofile Earphone Award for “This Book Is Not Good For You” by Pseudonymous Bosch! An audio clip is below and here is the review:

Here are a few clips from actual audiobooks that Joshua narrated or played a role in.

 

Recently, Joshua has been privileged enough to work on several audio books for Audible, Inc. (now owned by Amazon), Hachette, and Talking Book Productions. Actually the count is over 30 now and will hopefully continue to climb. In June of 2009 Joshua was pleased to play the part of narrator in “This Book Is Not Good For You” by Psuedonymous Bosch.  It was a multi-cast production done through Hachette.

As an audio book narrator voice acting all kinds of different characters ranging in age and even sex is par for the course. It really pushes voice actors to increase their skill level and Joshua is very excited to continue working in this area of voice-over. Because of Joshua’s vocal range he specializes in children, young adult, and teen books. Narrating audio books is really a lot of fun, but also a lot of hard work. As a matter of fact, it’s probably the hardest work in voiceover.
